Letter #4

Dear Rizza,

Yes, I am writing to you.  You know why?  Well truth is that you did impact my life in a certain way.  You were the first girl who actually accepted me for who I am.  This all happened 7 years ago but I still hold these memories close to my heart.  If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t have been the person who I am today.  You helped me discover parts of me I didn’t know.  And I greatly thank you for that.

Back then you were the best friend anyone could’ve asked for.  You were the person who I could run to, the person I could tell all my secrets to, and the person who effortlessly put a smile on my face.  We may have gotten ourselves into a situation where all of that could never happen again but I gotta say I still thank you for everything you’ve done.  I hope the feeling’s reciprocal.

Whatever happened between us is put in the past now.  You’re on with your life and I with mine but I just want you to know that I’ll still be here for you whenever you need someone to talk to.  I’ll do my best to listen and help you through things.  Why all of this you ask?  Well let’s just say that that’s what friends are for.
